Fundación Polígonos is a registered Colombian nonprofit (NIT 901.671.176-4). Gifts from abroad go to accounts in the Foundation’s name and are used exactly like local donations: every campaign is published with its cost and result.

Choose monthly or one-time. PayPal emails you the receipt, and you can cancel a monthly gift anytime from your PayPal account. Fundación Polígonos never sees your card details.
Tax deductibility
Colombian donation certificates only apply to Colombian income tax. We are evaluating a partnership with a US 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor so that gifts from the United States become deductible there. Until then, we send every donor abroad a receipt with the amount and date, and you can check with your tax adviser whether it applies in your country.
Small amounts, real surgeries
Veterinary costs in Colombia are far lower than in North America or Europe, so modest gifts fund real procedures.
Vaccines
A small monthly gift covers rabies and core vaccines for several puppies and kittens a year.
Sterilizations
A regular monthly gift funds a sterilization in a partner campaign, with surgery, medication and after-care.
You see the result
Every campaign is published with its partner, cost, photos and the number of animals treated.
We publish the exact cost per animal of every campaign once it is done, so you can see what your gift achieved.

Is Fundación Polígonos a registered charity?
Yes. We are a Colombian nonprofit foundation (entidad sin ánimo de lucro) registered with the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, tax ID (NIT) 901.671.176-4, with our address and legal documents published on our transparency page.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. Tell us your name, amount and date in the form on this page (or we read it from PayPal) and we email you a receipt. Colombian tax certificates only apply to Colombian income tax.
Can I give monthly?
Yes, through PayPal. Monthly gifts let us commit to partners months in advance, which is why they are worth more than their amount. You can cancel at any time.
How do I know the money is well used?
Every campaign we fund is published with its partner, cost, goal and result, including photos. Our financial statements and tax-regime documents are on the transparency page.
Why don't you take donations over WhatsApp?
To protect you from fraud. We only receive donations through this website and accounts in the Foundation's name.
