Every peso, published

We believe the best way to earn trust is to show the numbers: what each campaign cost, what it achieved, where the money came from and where it went.

What we publish

  • Every campaign with its partner, place, date, our contribution, the goal and the result. See the projects page (in Spanish).
  • Quarterly report: income by source (donations, Masi, companies, grants) and spending by program.
  • Annual financial statements signed by our legal representative and statutory auditor.
  • Tax regime documents: as a Colombian nonprofit in the special tax regime (Régimen Tributario Especial), we file our information with the national tax authority (DIAN) every year and publish it here.

Where the money goes

Our rule is simple: donations from the public go to programs. Operating costs (coordination, follow-up, reporting) are meant to be covered by the surplus of Masi, our own brand, and by corporate partners. The exact split is published with the first annual report.

Masi, our brand

Masi makes food and supplements for dogs and cats. It is not a separate company: it is a line of the Foundation under the same tax ID, with its own cost centre. Its surplus is reinvested in the Foundation's programs, as Colombian law requires for nonprofits, and its contribution is reported every quarter. Masi is launching soon; its first contribution will be published here. Buying Masi is never a condition for receiving support from the Foundation, and partners are not required to use its products.

Governance

Contracts with board members, founders or related companies are approved without the interested person present and at market prices. Our bylaws, board and statutory auditor are listed on the Spanish transparency page.
